an after-so-long update
fine. after missing in action for quite sometime. im back to typing something in my blog.
first of all...
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
it's kinda late but better late then nothing rite? anyway... cny left few more days to enjoy. so enjoy the celebration of welcoming the year of the pig to the fullest. collect more angpao since there's still time. dont regret after that.
my chinese new year celebration was not that bad. might be a little quiet this year. no trip back to any hometown this year. had dinner with one of my uncle's family on the eve at some chinese restaurant at pj hilton. dinner was entertaining and the food was great.
that was eve. first day of chinese new year was fun. went over to my aunt's house in sunway. had some gathering there with the other relatives. the place was full with humans this year. one after another came visiting. this time i tried some ice cream wine (as what my cousin said). it was baileys if im not wrong.
second, third day and so on are just the same. going out. visiting. and other activities that people do on chinese new year. but not as fun as the first day.
i couldnt really enjoy cny that long. other peole have a week break from college/university but not me. class starts on wednesday. but for me it's thursday as i dont have any class on wednesday. the worst thing is i have an assignment due on friday. the same week as chinese new year. how evil can my lecturer be to put an assigment due on the very same week. i have to go back to uni on friday just to hand it in since i couldnt finish it on thursday. another thing. i took the effort to attend class on thursday and 2 out of 3 classes i have were canceled. wonderful right?
